After your ID check is complete, the next step is to add Borderless as an authorised representative on your UKVI account. This lets our immigration team submit and manage the visa application on your behalf.
How it works
A member of the Borderless team will call you to walk through this in real time, because the UKVI portal asks for one-time codes that only you can see. The call usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.
How to prepare
Have your UKVI account login details to hand (the email and password you used when applying).
Be in a quiet place with a good mobile signal. You will need to read codes back to us from your phone.
Be near a computer if possible. The authorised helper section is easier to navigate on desktop than mobile.
What you will be asked to do
Log in to your UKVI account at the GOV.UK link below.
Go to the "Help and support" section and select "Add a helper".
Enter the Borderless helper details we will give you on the call.
Confirm with the one-time code sent to your registered email or phone.
After the call
You do not need to do anything else. Our immigration team will take over the application from here.
If you do not receive a call within two working days of completing your ID check, contact support.
