Managing Businesses, Sites, and Users in Borderless

How to add and manage businesses, sites, and users within the Borderless platform.

🏛️ Adding a Business

You can manage your businesses through the Settings menu in the bottom-left corner of your screen.

  • Click Businesses to view all businesses associated with your account.

    💡 Your company can have multiple businesses listed under it.

  • To add a new business, click the Add Business button and complete the form, including:

    • Address details

    • Registration and PAYE numbers

    • Payment settings

⚠️ Note: Editing an existing business is currently not supported in the app.

🏢 Adding a Site

To manage or add sites:

  1. Navigate to the Sites tab under Settings.

  2. Click Add Site to open the site creation form.

  3. Select the business the site belongs to and fill in the site address details.

⚠️ Note: You cannot currently edit a site once it’s been added.

🔒 Important Note

You can only add businesses/addresses that are already on your SMS or that you intend to request as part of an existing or pending Sponsor Licence. This ensures you remain compliant and do not accidentally begin sponsoring individuals at unapproved locations.

👤 Adding and Editing Users

All platform users are visible under the Users tab in Settings.

🛠️ Editing an Existing User

  • Only Owners can edit user permissions.

  • While you can’t change a user’s role, you can:

    • Update their name and job title

    • Assign or remove access to specific businesses and sites

➕ Adding a New User

To add someone new:

  1. Click Add User in the Users view.

  2. Choose a role for the new user:

    • Owner: Full access across assigned businesses and sites

    • Editor: Can view/edit info but cannot send offers or create CoS requests

    • Viewer: View-only access

  3. Assign the user to one or more businesses and sites.

  4. Click Confirm to activate the user.
