If you or the candidate decide not to move forward with sponsorship, here’s how to withdraw the offer and what happens next.

To withdraw an offer of sponsorship on the Borderless platform:

  1. Go to the ‘In Progress’ tab

  2. Select the relevant candidate’s profile

  3. Click ‘Withdraw’

This will stop the visa and sponsorship process for that candidate. Please see the video guide below for reference.

🙋 If the Candidate Withdraws

If the candidate decides to pull out of the visa and sponsorship process:

  • The candidate will not receive a refund of any fees they’ve paid

  • The employer will be refunded any Government Fees that have been billed but not yet paid to the Home Office

🏢 If the Employer Withdraws

If the employer withdraws the offer (this also applies to any dependent applications linked to the main candidate):

  • The employer will not receive a refund of any fees they’ve already paid

  • The candidate will be refunded all fees they’ve paid to Borderless so far, minus a 5% processing fee

  • If the Borderless Fee hasn’t been paid by the employer yet, a cancellation fee of £599 + VAT will be billed
