If you run your team on Sona, you no longer have to key your sponsored workers into Borderless twice. Borderless now connects directly to Sona, so your people and their right to work documents come across on their own.

An admin connects Sona from Settings > Integrations using your Sona API key. Once connected, your Sona employees flow into Borderless as draft records ready to complete. Because Sona does not hold visa or sponsorship detail, you add that final layer; Borderless brings everything else across, including right to work documents, which run through the same checks we already apply.

The connection keeps working after setup. When a worker's details change in Sona, Borderless picks the change up and flags it for review, so your records stay current without anyone re-keying them.

Anyone who should not be onboarded, a leaver, a contractor or a duplicate, can be skipped from your review list and restored later if you need them.

Sona is available on Pro and Expert plans and is set up by an account admin. Connecting or disconnecting never deletes existing records: disconnecting simply stops future syncs.
