Save a draft and pick up where you left off
You can now save a sponsorship offer as a draft at any step, then come back and finish it whenever you are ready. A new "Save draft" button sits at the bottom of every step, so an interruption no longer means starting over. Your saved drafts appear in the Drafts tab on the Sponsorships page, where anyone on your team can open, continue, or submit them. A "last edited by" column shows who worked on a draft most recently. Once a draft is saved you can move freely between steps and fill them in any order. Drafts you do not submit are kept for 90 days.
Know what you need before you start
When you begin a new offer, a short checklist now shows the details that only your candidate can provide, such as their current visa type and visa expiry date. You can choose "Email me this list" to send it to yourself, or "Ask the candidate" to email them a secure link so they can fill those answers in directly. If you are re-sponsoring an existing employee, details we already hold are filled in for you, so the checklist only shows what is still missing.
A clearer, faster wizard
Each step now shows where you are, for example "Step 2 of 5: Visa information". The payment step opens with your business's default fee split already selected, with a "Customise who pays what" option tucked behind an expander if you need it. Questions that only apply in certain cases are no longer asked of everyone up front. Before you submit, a "What's still needed" summary lists any required fields you have left blank and links you straight to them.
Start an offer from your homepage
There is a new "Send offer" tile in the quick actions row on your homepage. If you have unfinished drafts, a reminder card shows how many are waiting and links you to them.
What's coming next
We are continuing to simplify the candidate checklist further. Everything above is rolling out gradually, so you may see these changes arrive over the coming days.
