💡 What Are These Fees?
CoS Assignment Fee - A one-off fee the Home Office charges for issuing the Certificate of Sponsorship for each candidate.
Immigration Skills Charge (ISC) - A fee paid by the employer to the government to invest in training UK workers.
Government Visa Fee - The official visa processing fee charged by the UK government.
Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) - A fee that gives the candidate access to the UK’s National Health Service during their stay.
Borderless Fee - A service fee charged by Borderless for handling and managing the sponsorship and visa process.
🚫 Exemptions:
🎓 Candidates switching from a Student visa to a Skilled Worker visa do not need to pay the ISC fee.
🩺 Candidates applying under the Health & Care Worker visa route do not need to pay the IHS fee.
🚩 Please note: The Borderless Fee will vary depending on what plan you've signed up to.
🇬🇧 Visa Fees – UK-Based (Non-Health & Care Candidates)
Legally the employer always has to cover these fees for the visa application:
CoS assignment fee: £525
ISC (Immigration Skills Charge) fee: £364 per year of sponsorship for small sponsors, £1,000 per year of sponsorship for large sponsors.
These additional fees can either by paid by the employer, or passed onto the candidate:
Borderless Fee
Government Visa Fee: £885 for sponsorship up to 3 years, or £1,751 for sponsorship up to 5 years.
IHS (Immigration Health Surcharge) fee: £1035 per year of sponsorship
🌍 Visa Fees – Overseas-Based (Non-Health & Care Candidates)
Legally the employer always has to cover these fees for the visa application:
CoS assignment fee: £525
ISC (Immigration Skills Charge) fee: £364 per year of sponsorship for small sponsors, £1,000 per year of sponsorship for large sponsors.
These additional fees can either by paid by the employer, or passed onto the candidate:
Borderless Fee
Government Visa Fee: £769 for sponsorship up to 3 years, or £1,519 for sponsorship up to 5 years.
IHS (Immigration Health Surcharge) fee: £1035 per year of sponsorship
